PSY GAMES on the Nintendo Entertainment System is the 8-bit console edition of Remote Viewing Training, the psychic-perception trainer that began as a web app. It runs as a cyan terminal under a chrome marquee, renders its target photos as a teal duotone, and gives each mode its own accent color, all on real NES hardware.
The NES build is the most hardware-constrained of the console ports, and it leans into that: a flat cyan interface, a beveled PSY GAMES logo, and a main menu that lists every mode as its own program. Pick a target code, sketch your impressions on the grid, then see the photo revealed and grade yourself against it.
The title and mode menu, a Remote Viewing target code, the sketch grid, and the revealed target with its rating row.
The cartridge keeps all four modes and the core loop intact; the hardware sets the rest. The web app runs in full color at any resolution with touch or mouse. The NES works inside a 256 by 240 screen and a handful of colors per tile, so targets become a teal duotone, the rating scale is shorter, and input is a D-pad cursor, all in service of fitting the game onto an 8-bit cartridge.
