Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how the Remote Viewer Android application ("the app") handles information. The app is published by Mark Nicholson and distributed via Google Play.

Summary

The app does not collect, transmit, store, or share any personal data with the developer or any server controlled by the developer. All session data and settings remain on your device. The app makes limited use of third-party services as described below.

Information stored on your device

The app uses your device's local storage to remember session history and preferences while you use it. The following data is stored locally and is never transmitted anywhere:

• Remote viewing session history (target codes, timestamps, and the impressions you record)
• Practice exercise history for any included drills
• App settings and preferences
• A randomly generated identifier stored as rv_sid, used only to label your local data; it is never transmitted off the device

This data is visible only to you, stored only on your device, and can be removed by clearing the app's storage through your Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

Third-party services

Google Fonts. The app loads its display fonts (Share Tech Mono and Crimson Pro) from Google's font CDN at fonts.googleapis.com. When this happens, Google receives your device's IP address and User-Agent string as part of the standard web request. Google's handling of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

PayPal. The app includes an optional "Support" link to a PayPal donation page. The link is not activated unless you tap it; if you do, you are sent to PayPal's website, and your interaction there is governed by the PayPal Privacy Policy.

What the app does not do

• It does not create an account or require sign-in.
• It does not contain advertising or advertising SDKs.
• It does not contain analytics or tracking SDKs.
• It does not request access to the camera, microphone, contacts, location, or any sensitive device permission.
• It does not transmit your session data, impressions, or any other content to the developer or any third party.

Children

The app is not directed at children under the age of 13 and does not knowingly collect any data from any user, regardless of age.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when it was most recently revised. Material changes will be reflected in a new release of the app.
